Any interest in a homeschool volleyball team?

Calling all young adults!!!
ages 12-22 years

Do you want to join a group of like-minded young adults and play?
Do you want to play on a team?
Do you like Volleyball??

I'd like to put out a request to all of you young adults and see if we can get a couple of teams together for some team-on-team, competetive fun.
See, my daughter is 16 and for the first time ever (much to my anxiety) she went to Denfeld Highschool Volleyball tryouts this week. Well, there were over 60 entrants to 30 positions and needless to say, she wasn't one of "last year's" champs to make it on the team. She was crushed (I was guiltily releaved). Well, I had told her if she didn't make the cut maybe we could put out a 'feeler' and see if there's the same desire in other homeschooled kids.

Our hope is to create two, 5-7 person teams to play against --but together.
Boys AND Girls welcome.
We would meet at Memorial Community Center on Grand Ave. in west Duluth for the first few meets. Park Point will be "safe" (meaning no bikinis) when the public schools and colleges open again, so we could meet there, also.
Meets could be on a chosen weekday (I like Tuesdays but let me know) from 1pm-2:30/3:00pm. At Memorial Community Center there are playgrounds and swings so entire families would be invited. :) (for me, that's a bonus as we have seven children; five are ages 9 & under)

Committed players, please.
Basic knowledge of Volleyball rules would really be helpful, so do some research ;)

As time goes on & the weather turns cooler, we'd like to be able to use a church building's V-Ball court. Salem Lutheran Church in west Duluth has a court as does the Christian Missionary Alliance Church on Banks Ave. in Superior, Wisconsin. If any of you fellow parents knows of another building we could have meets at, suggestions are most certainly welcome! We would have to decide on a fee at that point, to compensate the use of the building.

Deadline: September 16th. That way we could know what to expect/plan for.
